Barolo tasting with aperitivo
Welcome to Al Dente Vino where on selected Fridays we offer wine tastings with different themes. The idea is that our tastings should fit perfectly as AW or as we Italians would say, aperitivo, the moment before a meal that you set aside to eat but above all to drink something good, which is exactly what you will get to do with us! This Friday we taste carefully selected wines from one of Italy's finest regions, Piedmont, during a Barolo trip! During the evening you get to taste several of these highlights from a narrow, exclusive range from small-scale producers of Barolo in particular. All with their own character. To enhance the flavors and elevate the wines, we combine the evening with a solid cheese and charcuterie platter. The charcuterie comes straight from the cutting machine and the cheeses are regional delicacies produced on a smaller scale. For the charcuterie, freshly baked Focaccia is served together with our own olive oil straight from sunny Sicily!

My name is Samantha Santambrogio-Öberg, who started Al Dente, and I came here to Sweden from Milan in 1996. After ten years as a system developer, I decided to completely change my path and realize my dream. My dream was to work with my lifelong passion for food, culture and travel. Today, food, culture, tradition and Italy are what I deal with on a daily basis. Details in the cooking, the choice of ingredients and a family atmosphere around the table and pots - that's what I teach. A cooking class with us is a break and a breather in a busy everyday life, whether you are doing a team-building cooking activity with colleagues or clients, or if you are cooking together with family and friends. A pasta dish enjoyed in Tuscany may take on a slightly different character than if you eat the same dish in Stockholm. But in my kitchen you get very close to that special, Italian feeling.
